Acupuncture is indicated mainly for functional problems such as those that involve paralysis, noninfectious inflammation (such as allergies), and pain. Behavior Counseling Whether it is training a new puppy or dealing with separation anxiety in an adult dog, inappropriate elimination or scratching furniture in a cat, we can help you find the answers to your pet's behavior problem. Chiropractic Chiropractic is a service performed by Dr. Gail Jewel. She is certifiied by the American Chiropractic Association. She focuses on vetebral subluxation. Dentistry We provide a comprehensive dental service including ultra-sonic scaling, polishing, and extractions. We advocate preventative care to help to control loss of teeth, bad breath, heart and kidney disease. Diagnostics We carry out diagnostic services such as radiology, and laboratory work. We also have access to a local lab with an excellent turn around time. Holistic Medicine We use Chinese herbal medicines, homeopathic remedies and Bach flower remedies when advisable and desired by our clients. Homeopathy Homeopathy is a service that is provided by Dr. Jewel. Feel free to conntact us for more information. Nutritional counseling We offer this service to our patients who may not be happy with their present diet, want to switch to feeding a more natural diet, or may have specific health concerns that need to be addressed with a special diet. Parasitology Our staff members have expertise in external and internal parasite control. Common parasites such as roundworms, tapeworms and others need to be checked for regularly. Radiology X-rays are invaluable tools in supporting medical or surgical conditions. Our facility is equipped with a diagnostic x-ray machine and an automatic processor for quick results. Surgery We are equipped with the latest in anesthetics and monitoring equipment. We have an Animal Health Technician monitor all surgeries. We also call in specialists for specialty surgeries whenever needed so that you and your pet do not have to travel out of area.
